Treatment of Personal Data

As is publicly known, the new General Data Protection Regulation is applicable from 25 May in all Member States of the European Union.

At Resolvcar Rent Lda, we value and attach the utmost importance to the trust you place in us and we guarantee that your personal data is secure and processed with complete privacy. Privacy, confidentiality and transparency are three key elements in the relationship of trust we establish with our Clients.

The treatment of your personal data allows, among other purposes, the development and direct marketing of the products and services that we believe are most appropriate to the profile and needs of each Client.

This Privacy Policy establishes how Resolvcar Rent Lda uses the personal data of his customers and potential clients and is composed of the following sections:
1. Resolvcar Rent Lda is the entity responsible for the processing of personal data provided under the contract, whose registered office is at Estrada de São Brás – Vale da Amoreira, Caixa Postal 138, 8005-5114 Faro;
2. Pursuant to Article b) of the RGPD, the processing of personal data is intended to conclude and execute this car rental agreement;
3. In accordance with Article 3) of the RGPD, personal data may be transmitted to third parties whenever it is necessary to ensure greeting with any legal obligations to which Resolvcar Rent Lda is subject, in particular, judicial authorities, criminal police, tax and customs authorities and regulatory authorities;
4. Personal data may only be processed for other purposes, whenever the owner has given express consent to Resolvcar Rent Lda;

RESOLVCAR will keep the personal data processed for the period necessary to provide the services, respective invoicing and compliance with legal obligations. At any time, the holder of the personal data has the right to:
1. Access them, within the limits of the contract and the RGPD;
2. Amend and oppose the respective treatment;
3. Decide on the automated treatment of them;
4. Withdraw consent
5. Request the erasure of the data and exercise the other rights provided for in the legislation in force (except the data that are legal obligations to which RESOLVCAR is subject).

If you withdraw your consent, this does not compromise the legitimacy of the treatment carried out until that date. Under the terms of the RGPD, the data subject has the right to be notified if there is a violation of personal data that may entail a high risk for the rights and freedoms, and may submit complaints to the authority.
Personal data may be transmitted to third parties that provide services to RESOLVCAR, whenever such services imply the communication of data contained in the rental agreements. I hereby declare, for the purposes set forth in article 13º of the General Regulation on Data Protection (EU) 2016/679 of the EP and of the Council of April 27 (RGPD), to provide my consent for the treatment of my personal data to Resolvcar Rent Lda., Collective Person no. 509404847, with headquarters in Estrada de São Brás – Vale da Amoreira, PO Box 138, 8005-514 Faro.

I have read and accept the Privacy and Data Protection Policy and authorize Resolvcar Rent Lda to:
Provide my data, without prejudice to its confidentiality, ensuring a use according to the corporate purpose of this company and compatible with the purposes of the collection.
The data transmitted to Resolvcar Rent Lda are incorporated by it and processed in a file of its responsibility, having as sole purpose the management of the services requested by the client, in order to comply with the applicable legal requirements.
I authorize the processing of said data and accept access to it by Resolvcar Rent Lda employees who carry out any of the activities necessary for the provision and promotion of the service.
I am aware that I am free, or not, to provide the information requested and whether to authorize its processing when submitting a duly completed form.
I agree that by not providing all the information requested, Resolvcar Rent Lda may not provide me the service or sell the good, or get the correct functioning of some present and / or future functionalities in the portal, as well as effectiveness of a subsequent sending, computer treatment, consultation or contact.
I am aware that I have the right to withdraw my consent at any time, and in this case I do not commit the lawfulness of the treatment made on the basis of the prior consent given.
